I used to live in a tiny little town in Washington called Snohomish, which isn't known for much. I would drive to Everett every day to work, and I used to love the drive back over the tressel, with the mountains in the distance. Little did I know that at the same time as this, a small factory called "Funko" had been founded in Snohomish. They've recently built a flagship store in Everett, right where I used to drive every day. Come along with me as I tour the store, because this place is AMAZING!!!
Right from the start, you can tell this store is not just another office building... Huge Funkos are on the top of buildings everywhere... the neighbors must literally love them!
We usually go there on Saturday morning, which always has a huge line out front! (If you get there first thing, you can sometimes find exclusives they put out!)
Once you get inside, decide what area you want to visit... There's Star Wars land...
"DC" Land... With a full-sized Batmobie you can sit in!
"Marvel" Land (Check out Thor hanging from the ceiling!)
Harry Potter Land...
The Disney Princess section...
Plus a few extra areas... "Wetmore Forest" is named for "Wetmore Avenue" where the HQ is located, this is where you find a lot of Funko Exclusive items...
They even had these crazy sodas! They would be perfect for a "Making of Fun" viewing party!
There are a few other areas I didn't get pictures of, so I'll have to take some next time I go back! Here is the coolest area of the whole store, which is also the newest area... The "Build-a-Monster" area where you can actually put together your own monster or Freddy Funko!
There are countless combinations you can choose from, and they can be swapped to create new creatures!
I REALLY like the boxes you get with each monster.... they are unique to the Funko HQ store!
I HIGHLY suggest a pilgrimage to Everett, Washington if you get the chance! Funko HQ is so amazing, just going there is an adventure in itself! They also offer painting classes on the weekends led by their own artists, just make sure you sign up ahead of time. Educators: they sadly do not have any capacity to host field trips (I've already tried!!!) due to the sensitive nature of the content and quick turn-around time for production... there are probably Funkos being created upstairs that would give away ALL the secrets to Infinity War!
Have you been to Funko? Are you a collector? Let me know in the comments if you have a favorite Funko that you collect, and thank you for reading!
Looks like a really fun place to take the kids!
Thanks for sharing!

It is! Since the winters are long and rainy in the northwest, a lot of our friends in Everett just go to Funko on the weekends, since the kids can run around and touch all the giant sculptures! And... some of us adults too! :)
