QUALITIES OF A GOOD RECEPTIONIST:
(1) A good receptionist must have a good or be qualified in educational background.
(2) He / she must have self confidence.
(3) He / she must be polite to visitors.
(4) The person must be neatly and properly dress always.
(5) The person must be punctual to work.
(6) The person must have a good telephone manner in receiving and making of telephone calls on behalf of the organization.
(7) The person must be educated on or have knowledge of the organization.
(8) The must be able to to make visitors feel comfortable while waiting for whom they want or wish to see, etc.
HOW A RECEPTIONIST SHOULD RECEIVE AND TREAT VISITORS:
(1) Visitors must be received and treated with human feelings.
(2) Visitors must be be received and treated with self control and dignity.
(3) Visitors must be received and treated with genuine interest.
(4) Visitors must be received and treated with self confidence.
(5) Visitors must be make to feel at home whilst waiting for whom he or she wants to visit.
(6) You must never use an abusive or insulting to visitors no matter what the case may be, etc.
