Industrial-scale CO2 removal is getting started.

This is so exciting. Still tiny in scale relative to global emissions, but this is our future. Currently $1000/ton of CO2 removed, that's like $10 to remove the CO2 produced by a gallon of gasoline. By 2030, down to $3 to "undo" a gallon of gas. As solar generation costs fall and our electric production exceeds demand, we can use this "free" electricity to drive CO2 capture.

Many decades to go, but I'm convinced this is a big part of the climate solution.
