Plastic. One of the most widely used substances in our daily life. Which is engaging in all areas of our lives. We use plastic in almost every aspect of our daily lives. But most people do not know how harmful the plastic is doing to us? One of the main reasons for the loss of the environment is plastic. Because of our excessive use of plasticity, the environment and the Animals has to pay the extreme price. The demand for plastics is available in a variety of ways and is being increasing day by day. Our environment is facing extreme problems for the uncontrolled use of plastic.Smaller sizes of plastic are increasing in different parts of life such as Cotton Buddy, Straw, One Time Glass, soft drinks bottle, bottle slippers, chocolate packets, jugs, food water glasses etc. These small plastics have made big problems.
Harmful Aspects of Plastic Use:

Land Damage
Uncontrolled use of plastic is polluting the ground in many ways. We use about 50 percent of the amount of plastic used in daily life to throw it out. That means we have become accustomed to using uninterrupted plastic without considering any kind of use of plastic. When we put polythene on the ground, it does not mix with the soil. As a result, when we cultivate, production is wasted. And the quality of the land gets ruined every day. As a result, we are being financially affected. About one-25th of the production of crop are lost due to polythene. Which is really very sad.
Water Damage
There are more than 35 million tons of plastic pollution worldwide every year and most of it is the end destination of water. Sea scientist Sheri Lippiat says, "We are throwing two pounds of plastic in the sea against every 1 pound tuna fish from the sea. The senior policy officer of the European Environment Bureau, Carsten Wachhard says, the main items on the coast are garbage, which are plastic bottles, straw and hygiene products.
This is a big problem, because the marine creatures and birds have swallowed the plastic; Which are killing them gradually Ocean Conservation says they have found plastic presence in more than 60 percent of all types of marine birds and 100 percent of marine turtle species.
Plastic means not only plastic. There are so many additives-filler-softener or hardner in the plastic items. This type of chemicals are so much harmful for human and our environment. If we can't control our plastic wastage, Bangladesh will be a garbage within 30 years. Thanks 4 your nice article.

Ah. @rishan, give a man a fish and he can eat for a day, but teach a man to fish and he'll be dead from mercury poisoning within the year. I hope humans become more aware towards the dangers of plastic soon. Thanks for the need to spread awareness about these things to people. I have seen many of the people especially the old ones burning plastics in streets many times and I tried to make them understand about the causes of it but they are less concerned and do not want to understand the consequences of burning plastics.

This is true. When I was young I always thought and blame the authorities about these harsh environmental issues but then I realized that it was us that made this things, They implement the rules but some of us where the ones who are not following it at times and I thought, it does not take one person to change the world into a better one, it takes all people's cooperation and passion to make these good changes.

Plastic, in and of itself, is not a problem. The problem is the improper use of plastic and the belief that it is disposable because it is inexpensive.
Many things that are stored and sold in plastic, could be contained in glass... and that glass could have a deposit to encourage it's return and reuse.
We should also apply a "cleanup" charge to any disposable products to capture the true cost of those products. Right now, businesses use plastic as a disposable option because we are effectively subsidizing its creation by not including the cost of remediation in the production.
It is good to acknowledge and inform folks about the harms of disposable culture. It is better to avoid those traps yourself. It is best to work towards changing the culture so that the problem is never created.

This is the right of earth on us to save earth from human unhealthy activities. And ee should able to recycle plastic material and made new thing from waste plastic material.

Environmental problems attendant upon use of plastic based packaging shall continue to bedevil the earthscape for a while longer than we can imagine! This is because of the comparatively less cost of procuring same and of course due to its ruggedness as compared to others.
For now , wholistic recycling policies when instituted and enforced seems to be the best remedial method to adopt.
