What is the correct procedure for executing an idea for a DApp without proficient CS skills?

I had an idea that could take blockchain another step further.
I am currently studying CS at my local community college but don't think that would suffice.
What should I do? What steps should I take?
Upvote this post for the relevancy of other upcoming entrepreneurs looking to get into the space?
My main concerns would be getting my idea stolen, otherwise I would just take the funding I received from the upvotes in this post to start. All advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
