just bought EOS - it was easy

I GOT MY EOS!!!!!! yippie, I made it in time
windows7+chrome+metamask+EOSdistribution-app

I am not a blockchain wizard so maybe by sharing this experience it can be interesting for people who want to buy EOS now or soon and do not know very much about ETH contracts
I simply followed the instructions from EOS.IO https://eos.io/instructions

I downloaded chrome browser - yeah i do not have installed!! because i use mozilla firefox since 1789!! no type error lol!
get metamask plugin for Chrome
send some ETH to metamask adress
open https://eos.io/distribution/
wait to sync with metamask wallet
NOTE: !!! if it does not sync - go in metamask wallet into settings - put
http://rpc.makerdao.com:7777
in the field new RPC URL and save - it will sync within few seconds
goto https://eos.io/distribution/ generate your EOS keys save your private-key very well!
GET EOS token - type amount and buyperiod# send

It worked all very well and smooth from the moment the ETH arrived on metamask wallet.
But the ETH transfer from polonieX to metamask was very chewy - 2.5h+ !!!!!
The TX-status in my withdraw history changing from complete with an TX-ID unknown to etherscan.io then 90 minutes later
there was still listed complete in my poloniex but with an different TX-ID. 30 minutes later it went from complete to pending without showing any TX-ID. Really messed up somehow. Luckily some time later the Transaction was sucessful and all the rest was
SUPER EASY !!!

when the EOS distribution app says "sending ETH" like shown in the first picture, you have to send the ETH-amount from metamask to the EOS contract adress. I forgot to mention this final step in the original post.

Where do u live? I'm a US resident and am concerned about the regulatory aspect. EOS was supposed to be offlimits for US citizens -- they said they have the right to destroy your tokens if I recall correctly if they find out ur operating the tokens in the US or whatever.
