Yves La Rose - EOS Nation enters the conversation with the discussion about ECAf:
“EOS Nation can no longer be confident that the current design and plan of what is known as ECAF is what is best for the long-term health and growth of the EOS ecosystem and that there are other innovative ways of securing property which should be explored and given consideration.”

“Our EOS charter allows for multiple arbitration providers. I am not sure if ECAF should be one of them. EOS Charter PUBLIC CONSULTATION”
Announcements:
“Hi all, just wanted to let you all know that I spoke with ECAF this morning. For the foreseeable future, they plan to continue their activities in terms of assigning arbitrators and handling emergency arbitration. I asked to clarify that there would be no discontinued service between now and referendum.”
Samupaha replies her:
“ECAF should absolutely not in any case step down just because some people demand it. What the community officially wants from them is written down to the constitution. There are all the articles that the community has asked ECAF to arbitrate. From their perspective, this is the only official communication from the community that they have received.
If the community wants to change this contract, then it must be done officially, which means a referendum. As long as there has been no referendum which changes the relationship between the community and ECAF, ECAF is married to this current system. They don't have any other choice. They can't just listen to some people in the community who shout the loudest and demand them to do something, because that could be seen as corruption or loss of independence. They must wait for the official expression of the community's opinion via referendum. No other way is acceptable, period.”
Amy answers him:
“Well I think the problem more so is this affects the feasibility of their WPF proposal getting funded”.

Moti T | ECAF in reply to the previous announcement by Amy:
“Yes, to add to what has been said. We have a duty to continue offering service whilst a way forward on the Constitution is found. To stop doing so will be a gross disservice especially to those individuals who already have pending cases filed with us.
However, as a Community focused dispute resolution service we need to ensure that we are fulfilling the Community's needs. Therefore we are digesting the feedback we have received to date with a view to improving from the status quo.”

We also would like to send a msg from the Chinese speaking community. Here are the ten major topics and concerns regarding EOS governance, plz refer to this link : EOS Amsterdam&EosStore Summaries”
Announcements:
“Through psychological association, the current organization known as ECAF and the concept of Dispute Resolution at the base layer have been invariably linked. It is my opinion that we have passed the point of no return where these are viewed as two separate concepts: unless drastic measures are taken, they are now and will forever be ONE. In other words, for right or for wrong, currently, Dispute Resolution equals ECAF.
