Below are our Mission and Code of Conduct. This was published on Oct 30th, 2018. Any future changes we make to our Code of Conduct will be informed by the community’s will and will be broadcast to community members through all viable communication channels before formal adoption.
Mission
EOS Bean focuses on stabilizing EOS operation and increasing the value of the EOS blockchain. We believe firmly in acting with honesty, integrity, ethics, and transparency as we push towards promoting and supporting the EOS community at large. We will put all our resources into operating an excellent block producer, educating and promoting awareness in the broader community. Since we truly believe that blockchain is a technology which will change the world and EOS will be one of the paramount evolutions of blockchain technology, We, EOS Bean team, want to take a lead in this movement.
With our multi-dimensional experience, EOS Bean will:
- Provide high level of security and reliable infrastructure for EOS block production
- Search for and develop EOS DApps and services that contribute to real-world usage
- Organize regular meetups, Hackathons, tours, conferences and educational programs
- Push forward the development of EOS by collaborating with EOS communities through all over the world
EOS Constitution
EOS Bean will always support and defend the EOS Constitution, including the EOS BP Agreement. We will not comply with any requests that are forbidden by the Constitution in order to protect the network. We pledge to ensure the EOS Constitution is transparently communicated to all token holders. We defend the rights of the EOS Community and the token holders.
Arbitration
EOS Bean will strongly consider arbitration recommendations when making decisions as block producers. We will carry out policy changes, enforce rulings and abide by arbitration decisions.
Honesty, Integrity, and Ethics
EOS Bean declares that always act with honesty and integrity while applying the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our conduct. This includes abiding by the EOS Constitution and BP Agreement.
Block Producing
EOS Bean pledges to maximize security, stability and performance when producing blocks.
Transparency
EOS Bean will provide relevant and up to date information regarding key operations, including technical, financial and legal aspects of our services. All revenue and transaction history will run through a publically displayed ledger. Activity statements, expenditure reports and beneficiary donation reports will be displayed at regular intervals for the EOS community to monitor.
No Collusion
EOS Bean will do all means possible to prevent collusion with other block producers and make any partnerships completely transparent to the community through regular reporting.
Collaboration
EOS Bean believes passionately in team work the EOS community. We are a highly efficient, collaborative and disciplined team. We are open to collaborating with every resource to push forward the development of EOS blockchain. We believe the role of a block producer is to lead from the front, nurturing an environment where collaboration is encouraged.
No Vote Buying
EOS Bean understands the importance of avoiding activities that may represent a material conflict of interest. Therefore, EOS Bean and any of its team members will never pay for votes.
