I always wanted to be a detective and tried in the 1990's to get hired as a police officer. Reverse discrimination because of quotas made that not happen. Then I gave up and got into IT work instead.
Fast forward to a few years ago, and I became a PI in Virginia. I never gave up on my dream, but it took me a while to get back to it. Now I have my own PI business, and I also do residential security consulting. I became a voluntaryist before becoming a PI.
I wasn't giving you a hard time above. I was agreeing with you. All I was joking about is usually people will revert to, "Oh, yeah?! Who'll control the nukes???" ha ha
