EOS Toolkit - Account Balance!

Following up on our Don’t Panic Article - which you should all read if you haven’t already - we have released a new application for the community. We have developed a tool for EOS token holders to check their total account balance and how it is allocated between NET and CPU stake along with the liquid EOS available.

Introducing the EOS Toolkit. Account Lookup is the first of many features we will roll out within the Toolkit. We feel it’s extremely important for token holders to understand what’s happening with their tokens at present. With snapshot and chain validation actively underway we wanted to provide a tool to the public as quickly as possible that allows anyone to validate and confirm their EOS balance on one of the mainnet candidates.

The public Eos Toolkit currently talks to the testnet deployed by @eos-canada in collaboration with many other block producer candidates.

  2. Enter your EOS Public Key or EOS Account name - make sure its not your ETH key!

Not much to it!

Security

This tool will never jeopardises your token or account safety as it only uses your public key or account name to retrieve your balance.

Never share your private key online and only use trusted key storage tools such as Scatter.

Good stuff guys, thanks for the toolkit.

Thank you :)

Excellent article. I learned a lot of interesting and cognitive. I'm screwed up with you, I'll be glad to reciprocal subscription))

It says I only have 10 available and the rest seem to be...half in net stake and half CPU stake...is this correct? Thanks for making the toolkit!

Sorry just read your post explaining this from a few days ago...thank you

Glad you found the other article that's perfectly normal!

Looking forward to main net launch and the additional functionality discussed here. We need tools like this that make storage, voting, staking, delegation and RAM trading more simplistic for average users. This looks great.

Thanks @grisgal! We completely agree and hope to be able to put all those functions in one easy interface :)

The tool does not work. I registered properly and have verified this with eos authority and have found my account name in the snapshot and eth address. The tool says it cannot find my pub key or account name.

Hi Saraca, were you inputting your EOS public key or your ETH Public Key? You need to use your EOS pub key or account name on this tool.

generous, same here man, it didn't work for me either. The snapshot has a different EOS public key which i didn't register. I entered both keys. The bullshit one and the one I registered. Both come up as blank. Need help man. I am fucked

I discovered via reddit that account names changed sometime around the snapshot. My account was one that changed. Check on EOS Authority and see if your account name might have changed. I was able to find my eos balance using the tool that way.

It sounds like something went wrong with your registration. Could you do the fallback method on the account with the EOS which is showing improper registration ? There are some tutorials on how to do this with MEW.

Good morning@gentlebot sir..

Yes, It sounds like something went wrong with your registration @robciv. Have a look at EOS Cafes fall back registration tool - https://steemit.com/eos/@eoscafe/eos-fallback-registration-how-to-get-eos-keys-if-you-did-not-register

Hi genereos, I was using my account name to check the balance not the public key. Apparently, some account names were changed by a few letters during the snapshot. My account name was affected. I was inputting the old name, and got an error message. After discovering the problem, I used the correct account name and succesfully accessed my balance with the EOS balance tool. I have # unstaked and # of staked EOS. Thanks !

Hi Saraca, Yes, for some reason a deterministic algorithm was used and some names were changed in the snapshot.

If you just use your public key it will work fine. No problem, hope you like the tool :)

Same here

Perfect! Gonna vote you as BP :)

Glad you liked the tool, keep an eye out for more features. Thanks for the support :)
