Does Freedom Require Radical Transparency or Radical Privacy?

in eos •  5 years ago

I'm inclined to think that the biggest change that cryptocurrencies can bring is not privacy but complete transparency. If all the ownership of all assets were transparent to everyone, then everyone could see who owns whom and where they're hiding their money.

It would be very hard to sustain a highly unequal society if everyone could see just how unequal it really is.
