That's only the beginning (imagine since Jun, 3 2018) and we are already at 3708 TPS on the MainNet EOS Blockchain. That's the technical aspect. Regarding the human aspect we are in a right way to ensure a governance with referendum smart contracts. EOS Nation is behind the roadmap of this project by his COO Daniel Keys. EOS Nation link the another BPs together by transmitting his core values such as Community, Education, Knowledge Transfer. That's the beauty of this Everyone's Open Society (EOS) DAO. All is possible on this Blockchain and what will happening is depending totally of us.
