EOS is a beautiful symphony of code, community and economics. Seems like a no brainer that EOS is going to be very popular. As I write this, Block Producers around the world are working together to get the Mainnet launched.

I've been searching for resources on how to develop on the EOS platform. I couldn't find any centralized place so here are a list of resources I found.

EOSIO Git Hub Repository
https://github.com/EOSIO/eos

EOSIO Git Hub Wiki
https://github.com/EOSIO/eos/wiki

Official developers portal for EOS which was released the same time as EOSIO v1.0.

I'm more familiar with Windows, but the above resources are tailored to Mac or Linux. Here is how to install a Linux Distribution on Windows. I would suggest Ubuntu as it seems to be the popular one.
Install Windows Subsystem for Linux

They also suggest using Docker as the simplest way to get started. Here is the Docker documentation to get started.

Stack Exchange EOS Community is now up and running and it’s a good place post your questions if you are stuck.

Here is a good introductory video by Object Computing. Video starts with an introduction to what a block-chain is and the main components of EOS. Using CLion as the IDE they also do a quick walk-through of the code and setup a simple smart contract. There is also Q and A session at the end video which has some good answers.

Object Computing also have a 6 hr online workshop coming up for $100 USD.

Infinite X Laps have a few articles on how to get started with EOS dApp development. Here is their latest article on how to setup Visual Studio Code and CLion as the IDE.

I love reddit, and the subreddit for EOS development is starting to get busy.
