EOS Crowdsale with MyEtherWallet - The Complete Guide

in eos •  7 years ago

Wish I had seen this before I bought. I used Myethereumwallet to purchase the erc20 token. I needed to use Myetherwallet not Myethereumwallet. The wallet I used does not except tokens and I cannot write contracts from that wallet. The wallet support isnt helping.

So is it possible to write a contract to register Eos tokens in Myetherwallet and plug in the place I purchased it from -Myethereumwallet address? Then write a 2nd contract to claim and transfer them to the real MEW wallet? It makes sense in my head but I don't know if that makes sense written out.

I am not code literate but I hope that there is a way to make the claim and transfer using the real wallet by plugging the purchase address maybe in the ABI / JSON Interface?
