Post is not showing under the main tag

Hello everyone!

Today I am here to share a critical error while using steemit. I am facing this problem from the last a few days. And I am worried about this why is this happening to me.

3 Days ago I published a post to join a contest by @sergeyk. I started writing my posts a it took me a lot of time to write it. And finally I published the post. My post was showing under this tag https://steemit.com/created/sec20w4sergeyk as soon as I published. But sometimes ago when I refreshed the screen my post was not under the contest tag.

I became really worried that where my hard work and efforts went while my post is not under the tag. So I moved headed towards my posts section to check my post and tag if I used it correctly. So I saw it under my profile and the tag was also correct. I edited the post again to by adding the tag two times but still the issue persisted. And I could not help myself in this regard.

I talked this matter to the professor as well to confirm it if it was showing for him or not. He also agreed with me that the post once showed and other times it did not show. It was really frustrating for me.

Again it happened with me when I published another contest post of dynamic devs. It is the main tag https://steemit.com/trending/dynamicdevs-s20w4 and I have checked it again and again but it is not showing. It make me worried and put me into headache. This is the link of my post SEC S20W4 || Introduction to PHP Part - 2 the post is visible in my blog but while exploring the main tag from where the professor will check it for the review. And as far as I consider this is the reason that my post has not been reviewed by the professor even it is 2 days old now.

I did talk with other seniors [suboohi, aaliarubab] as well about this issue but we did not find any solution. So that is the reason I have come up here to find the solution from the steemit community and steemit team.

I would like to get the attention of @steemcurator01, @steemcurator02 and @steemitblog as well as the developers and witnesses for the solution of this problem.

I use yours frontend as well but it did not show there as well. If I face it I'm future I will be sharing the details with you for its better investigation.

Yes I encountered the same issue, Witness team will soon look into this issue, meanwhile you can use SteemPro frontend.

Yes I noticed already it is working in Steempro. But I think changing frontend is not the solution because others do not know it.

Why is it happening as the API is same on both the frontends?

Try to split your post body length into two parts,

Make part 2.1 and 2.2 of your post with 50/50 body length

Create a new post with title change. You can remove the pipe sign | it will change your post permlink.

starlord28 already opened a issue regarding it. Your deleted post permlink dame as the new one.

I have followed your guideline to remove | from title and after reading the details of the issue on https://github.com/steemit/hivemind/issues/310 as informed by @moecki I have come to know the real issue of this problem.

Actually I published the post and then suddenly I deleted it from the feed because I forgot to add some essential data in it. And then I published the same post with same title again. As starlord mentioned in his issue that when a post is published and deleted suddenly without getting any vote and when it is published again it does not show in the feed because the API does not fetch it.

So I have changed the title a little bit and for me the issue has resolved the post is showing under the tag.

I will surely try it to split if the post goes long. And currently due to the time constraints to participate in the contest I am not deleting the post link. And next time I will take a closer look into it if it happens and then I will share again.
