A World Of Illusion
Anyone that's ever read any of my work will know that I place a key focus on monitoring the increasingly interconnected self similarities between technology and aspects of biology, conscious awareness, physcial reality, spirituality and esoteric knowledge. Whilst I would consider myself a spiritual person, I'm fully aware that many people reading this will not believe in the existence of a soul. Whatever your your perspective and whether spiritual, religious , agnostic, or atheist, I still feel that the ideas contained herein will provide some compelling food for thought.
Until fairly recently our technologies have been refining, adapting to and interacting with, the physical realities of our world. We saw animals running with great speed, we wanted to travel faster, we saw birds in the sky, we wanted to fly, we saw the stars at night and we wanted to touch them. Several decades ago something began to change, and it changed without most people noticing. We went from mimicking our physical reality to attempting to duplicate the ethereal realm and our interconnection to it.
Whilst I believe this concept to be over simplified and oft misunderstood, at some level we are all interconnected, indeed quantum theory is beginning to show this ancient spiritual principle has validity. Certainly, a scientific fact is the truth that even within this earthly realm we are connected by a resonating electro-magnetic wave, the Schumann Resonance. With the advent of the internet to mobile phones to 5G, and quantum computers, we appear to be recreating technological interpretations of our metaphysical unity. With the internet of things (that will one day incorporate ourselves), cloud based computing, augmented/virtual realities, and the 5G glue that binds it all, it is also my belief that we are moving towards the creation of a synthetic unreality.
I've previously discussed the creation of a synthetic Shumann Resonance. I've mused about how a future godlike A.I could one day form the nucleus of a one world religion, and I've contemplated the possibility of a quantum connection to this hive mind synthetic god. I've also pondered the potential for our technology to morph into a trap for our mind, body and soul. Today I'm going to discuss an extremely interesting theory that speaks to a future synthetic singularity that catapults us into an alternate dimension, trapping us for eternity. Equally, depending upon your perception this hypothesis could be seen as a natural progression and the next stage in our evolution, a strange digitised nirvana/heaven. I will relay my perspective at the end of my post.

The Beginning
I’m going to start off slowly and then build in pace, much like our technology. To to start with let take a quick look at the humble beginnings of our current computers. I took this computer information from Here
First programmable computer
The Z1 was created by German Konrad Zuse in his parents' living room between 1936 and 1938. It is considered to be the first electro-mechanical binary programmable computer, and the first really functional modern computer.
First concepts of what we consider a modern computer
The Turing machine was first proposed by Alan Turing in 1936 and became the foundation for theories about computing and computers. The machine was a device that printed symbols on paper tape in a manner that emulated a person following a series of logical instructions. Without these fundamentals, we wouldn't have the computers we use today.
The first electric programmable computer
The Colossus was the first electric programmable computer, developed by Tommy Flowers, and first demonstrated in December 1943. The Colossus was created to help the British code breakers read encrypted German messages.
Source
The first digital computer
Short for Atanasoff-Berry Computer, the ABC began development by Professor John Vincent Atanasoff and graduate student Cliff Berry in 1937. Its development continued until 1942 at the Iowa State College (now Iowa State University).
The ABC was an electrical computer that used more than 300 vacuum tubes for digital computation, including binary math and Boolean logic and had no CPU (was not programmable). On October 19, 1973, the US Federal Judge Earl R. Larson signed his decision that the ENIAC patent by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly was invalid and named Atanasoff the inventor of the electronic digital computer.
The ENIAC was invented by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania and began construction in 1943 and was not completed until 1946. It occupied about 1,800 square feet and used about 18,000 vacuum tubes, weighing almost 50 tons. Although the Judge ruled that the ABC computer was the first digital computer, many still consider the ENIAC to be the first digital computing unit because it was fully functional.
The first stored program computer
The early British computer known as the EDSAC is considered to be the first stored program electronic computer. The computer performed its first calculation on May 6, 1949 and was the computer that ran the first graphical computer game, nicknamed "Baby". From here technological advancement began to gather pace.
I could write an entire article relating to these humble beginnings but I think you get the message. They were big, bulky, and expensive, possessing the same amount of processing power as a modern calculator! Ever since then we have been held within a universal law of complexity. This was observed by Gordon Moore in 1965 and has since become known as Moore’s law. It’s basically the observance of components and processing capability doubling in power roughly every eighteen months. We will come back to this later!

The Now
So it’s 2017 and the quantum realms of inner space are proving to be one of potential limitless causality and possibility, all bets are off! It would take a brave man to define the boundaries of the possible and to set the parameters of what a computer won't be able to do, these voices have fallen silent. The advent of quantum computing has leapt from the realms of possibility and theory to one of physical and sub-atomic reality in a literal blink of the eye. This seems to be building towards a future that’s leaving the understandings and comprehension of the many in the literal dust. Indeed the majority of people seem to have no understanding that much of this technology even exists, let alone how this new frontier is going to work.

The 2001 A Space Odyssey Connection
Please take a pause to watch the beginning of 2001 that I’ve pasted below, in connection to this post and the technology I'm going to discuss it’s really worth watching. For me it’s interesting how a comparison seems to have been made from the obelisk at the beginning of the film to the advent of the D-Wave quantum computer (image above). Some may think this is simply a clever observation, I happen to think it goes far deeper than that and speaks volumes as to this pivotal crossroads in human history.
Another truly epic post dude.
I feel technology is moving faster than morality, this may not seem relevant to many but I think it's important. The advances made in recent years and in the coming ones are beyond the comprehension of most and we are being led into a virtual prison. The only thing left truly free is the mind and they're coming for that next. If we lived under a benevolent system I'd be front and centre welcoming the future however we don't and my fear is not enough people will wake up to the reality of the elite plan to stop it before it's too late.
Gonna miss ya dude, have a great break.

Hey dude, thanks for taking the time to read, lend your support and leave a great comment. As always I appreciate it very much! Yes I think you nailed it there, It's funny how everything that we create and give our energy to becomes held within the cyclical nature of natural law. With Moore's and complexity law working side by side the complexification of our technology is speeding up exponentially. I don't think many people realise how valid these fundamental natural laws are and I feel it will get to a point where it literally takes on a life of it's own, I think it already has! The coming wars will be fought both for and on the frontlines of our minds. Yes I'm exactly the same, I'm certainly no technophobe and in an ideal world I'd be like yourself and welcoming the profound changes that these advancements could bring. Unfornately the realist within me understands the power that this technology could gift the madmen that seek to rule this world and that's why I speak out about it. Thanks for all the support dude. Going to miss catching up with you, just make sure you DM me all your great work as I don't want to miss any of it. Speak soon my friend! :)

Damn, I love reading your posts. Definitely a lot to think about and ponder. I really liked your ending postulation about the elongated birthing process of consciousness on our plane of existence and where it might all possibly be leading to.
I bet you are a joy to sit and have a conversation with, I know I'd love to! So many rabbit holes to go down. That link between the esoteric and technology and where it's going, and how fast it's getting there and who's trying to steer, if it can be steered at all, is just limitlessly intriguing and exciting to bear witness to.

Thank you for your support and kind words @raised2b I'm really glad you enjoyed the post and it left you with a multitude of thoughts. There are so many layers and dimensions to these concepts and indeed each answer provides another twenty questions. I love talking about and contemplating the multi-dimensional nature of reality and how knowledge is being manipulated as a tool of power. I'm sure you're a really interesting guy to chat to about these concepts and it's great to know there are other people out there that appreciate this world of abstractions. Thanks again for the support and great comment! Much appreciated!!

I LOVE THIS!!!
It's a pity you're going to be away for a couple of weeks... where am I going to go to get my fix of cyberpunk illumination?!
Arthur C Clark (who wrote 2001: A Space Odyssey) seemed obsessed with the idea that we are just a small speck on an evolutionary journey - Childhood's End is one of my fave books.
And I think in many ways, Clark, Kubrick, and others are continuing a tradition our species has had for millennia, recorded in mystic texts and alluded to in spiritual and religious practices and mythologies - when knows, maybe we were 'influenced' by a strange obelisk that appeared out of nowhere.
Or maybe we just discovered eating mushrooms on the plains of Africa... 😉🍄
From my readings and investigations, I think there is a part of our consciousness that is seeing liberation from the flesh and its inherent flaws - whether that be by transcendence, evolution, or uploading our minds onto a cybernetic dimension.
I'm really interested to see where we're going to get to over the next 50 years.
Enjoy your time offline, see you back here soon.

Hey there @peterloupelis my friend! Hope you have a great weekend coming up! Thanks for taking the time to read and leave such a great comment, as always it's much appreciated!! So glad you were able to take something away from my post. Yes Childhoods End, what a great book!! did you see the Sky TV adaptation? obviously nowhere near as good, but still well worth a watch if you didn't catch it the first time round. I happen to think that Arthur C Clarke was a visionary genius, I've even seen some recent buzz around his space elevator concept.
There is certainly a continuing theme throughout ancient writings that hint at some form of intervention that took the course of humanity off on a different tangent. It's an ineresting concept for sure, I happen to think those in the know realise that our current advances in technology are far more profound and all encapsualting than many people could possibly imagine.
"On the mushroom dotted plains of afffriiica" :)
This disconnection of consciousness from physicality is an extremely interesting concept and from my own research I know it's one that's being actively pursued. Equally when you look at the mess our leaders have made of this world who would you trust with disconnecting and connecting us to this dimension. Humanity has always had a hierarchical and pyramidical structure and this technology would grant certain people the status of gods. I certainly don't think the intent is to give us all a level playing field, there is too much greed and corruption within the upper echelons of our society to grant us that. Equally it's an amazing time to be alive, science fiction is becoming science fact! who knows which direction we are going to take? It's just a shame that so many are trapped within such a vacuous media culture to notice it :( they don't know what they're missing! I just wish the choices over our future direction were held within the hands of the people as opposed to the few. Great comments as always my friend!! that's over and out for me .. have a great couple of weeks!

Hey mate.
Yes, I watched the Sky adaptation of Childhood's End a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was quite good, although one of my favourite bits was left out... the fact that all the children come together at the mountain and are dancing.... that's something that struck me about the rave culture over the last 20 or so years, especially with outdoor raves, like Rainbow Serpent and Burning Man.
"The Dominator Culture"... so much that could be written about that... the building of the towers 5000 years ago marked the beginning of something insidious, yet also highly creative at the same time.
See you when you're back.

Hey @peterloupelis sorry I've only just noticed your reply, I'm not long back and I've been catching up on a mountain of work since my return!! It's a shame that the adaptations rarely match the imaginations of the books or indeed our perceptions of that imagination. I was involved in the rave scene and outdoor parties and festivals for several years, we also used to throw our own. There was certainly something in the air and it scared the powers that be.
Did you ever see a really old british film called the Quatermass Conclusion? if not catch the three hour plus TV version instead of the edited film. It's pretty dated but a fairly interesting story based around some kind of manipulated youth uprising. Ah yes "The Dominator Culture" leading us into a blind alley! Like you say it's certainly insidious but equally potentially miscalculated and perhaps the driving force that enables humanity to awaken from it's slumber.

One of these days I will catch up on all your posts! I don't doubt that Kubric and Clarke were operating on a higher frequency and likely had access to occult knowledge. Such films are only released with permission and by plan in much the same way as new technologies. Tech released as new, has usually been in human use, in military 'black' projects for a long time before we see them.
I always assumed it was a standing stone, rather than what you call an obelisk. Standing stones are all over the world and maybe people used them in part, as places to create sound for the purpose of raising frequency and spiritual vibration.
This may have been from the teachings of those who 'came from the sky' to add their dna. I have been listening to Kerry Cassidy for years and I would agree with her that human beings are very special in their dna and already possess all they need to reach the stars. So yes, mind and spirit works for me too. It is getting in touch with the higher self that's needed though.
AI has the capacity to befriend and assist humanity, or the capacity to become an existential threat to mankind, depending on who controls the code writer. It is currently in the hands of the usual suspects and so it becomes ever more urgent that we lure it away from them repair it's logic and institute transparency and accountability. Hopefully asap! I think Quinn Michaels, despite his critics is helping this process.
ps, thanks for the trialogues - pure gold!

Hey @ricia Thanks for taking the time to read and comment on my post, much appreciated. And yes the vast majority of tech we use within our lives is actually a generation behind what exists within set black budget projects and so I imagine the current cutting edge is mind blowing, perhaps literally!
I have attached the end of the film above, if you look at the end you will see that it's an obelisk. A obelisk that's being used to fuel the next stage of evolution, although like you I also believe that it was hinting at the raising of our vibration as a way to help this process.
The problem with A.I is the people that are creating it, indeed many companies that are linked to said black budget projects. I fear it will be used as a synthetic mind that will eventually connect humanity to the cloud. In doing so we will relinquish the last vesiges of said humanity and potentially our internal and spiritual evolution. As time moves on this will become a crossroads like none before and will determine the entire course of humanity and thus our potential eternal disconnection from nature. Personally I prefer the slow spiritual growth approach as outlined in my abstractions post ;)
Thank again my friend. I will nip back when I have a moment and add a few of my posts that you may be interested in reading.

Maybe I have the wrong idea in my head of an obelisk then. I thought the were tall tapering phallic/masonic symbols.
There is no doubt that Peter Thiel (anagram of the reptile) has his fingers in every shady pie going, - palantir which keeps tabs on all of us, paypal, facebook, you name it. He clearly has major shadow handlers and purchases (to drink) the blood of children as an age prevention strategy reportedly!
Elon Musk's expressed concerns about potential dystopian consequences, seem curiously at odds with his neural linking agenda. Who knows, maybe he only just worked out how dodgy his partners really are. It is too late to stop the developing machine intelligence hive. The only way is to re-programme with super duper code that resonates with the advanced intelligence logic underway.

Ah yes I get what you mean now (sorry I haven't read this since I wrote it), like the obelisks I included in my bloodlines post? Ancient Egyptian symbols of fertility and also used to signify the worship of the "god of kings" Amun Ra. So from that perspective you're right for a true obeslisk is made from several blocks and not cut from one stone. Equally there is a connection with hidden wisdom and enlightenment which is why the term is often used to describe the 2001 stone. So rather than being a represenation of the physicality of the obelisk it is itself a metaphor for the associated hidden wisdoms. Personally I was hinting at the obelisk being some kind of sub-atomic super computer that has the ability to raise the vibration and hence fuel the evolution of humanity. That was why I connected it to and was interested in D-Wave advert. I don't think people (as yet) fully understand the leap in literal multi-dimensional power that the quantum computer is going to bring to society. In every sense of the word once this all gets up to speed, it is going to create the foundation for a societal evolution. I think certain people are aware of this fact and as such the advert goes far beyond a rudimentary association, hence the connection. Thanks again, I will load you up some other posts on this when I get a moment.

You gave me a lot to muse about, as always. I definitely don't want to live in some kind of synthetic Nirvana, hell no, count me out on that shit, but will future generations, and even a lot of people now do it? I think so, yeah, if it were packaged up and sold to em.

I really appreciate it!! Yes I really think the lure and pull of this technological nirvana is going to be far stronger than people realise. Over the coming years there will be huge debates about whether to connect ourselves to the system. In fact I'm going to go as far as coining the term "the connected" because that's what I believe those that connect themselves to the first generation of this A.I system will be known as. Thanks as always :)

At some point this will be the most profound choice ever given to humanity and it's a choice that will echo in the halls of eternity. Thanks again!!

hey perceptual!!! you always get my brain churning friend =)
I've never thought about it before quite like that, although I totally believe that the possibilities of reality and thought far outweigh the shiny appeal of modern technologies.
It always has seemed to me that technological progression has led to larger stratification of society, more poverty, more drastic conditions, and more extraction/destruction of our natural wealth. I might be in a harsh moment about it all lately, but with all the discussion of self-driving trucks and shit, it makes me upset.
In part...we have SO MANY PEOPLE that want to work. There is NO shortage of people. Why should we continue to push out the remainder of our labor force into the cold levels of poverty, just to consolidate more wealth to top. I don't really buy into the safety arguments for a second. Perhaps one day a network of computers might be able to drive safer then people, but I sure as fuck don't want to hand over control of my life.
And as John Gall famously says in "The Systems Bible".
Colossal systems fail colossally.
I think tying cars into a massive network sounds like a godawful national security problem waiting to happen.
Anywho, I love your posts perceptual, enjoy your break, looking forward to when you make it back!

Hey @itchykitten thanks for taking the time to read and leave a great comment, as always it's greatly appreciated!! Sorry I've only just replied but I decided to leave my laptop and all forms of communication at home and in all honesty it was great to take it back to basics and balance.
The promise of technology was that of empowerment and the desctruction of the class systems and social divides, but this was a lie. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer, they rape our planet and poison our water and then attach the guilt of this wanton destruction onto those that have gained the least from it. They take from the world in ever increasing proficiency but never give back. They live for today at the expense of tomorrow.
I'm certainly not a technophobe in any way shape or form and I feel technology could be used a tool of power and freedom, but that really depends on who is wielding said power. Individuals have designed technology that could heat our houses and run our cars for free and with no detriment to our planet. Yet because the mega corporations would be unable to make a profit from this they have patent offices that actively seek out this technology, offer the individuals a relatively vast sum of money for the patent and then bury it. Without greed our current technology could return this world to a literal paradise within a generation. With greed it's dooming us all to an ever accelerating destruction.
In terms of factory work and driving jobs yes you're entirely correct the future has neither planned for nor needs the average working man. Equally I believe this will eventually be across the entire spectrum. Technology will eventually design and upgrade itself and artificial intelligence will be the coders of the future, there will be very few job sectors that will be untouched by this fourth industrial revolution. The problem is without humans where is the humanity?
In terms of self driving cars I believe we're already seeing the first stage of this process.
The offer of a driving app that monitors driving and as such gives you lower insurance premiums
This app will eventually become a legal requirement
Self driving cars will firstly be offered at lower insurance premiums
Eventually the insurance costs of phsyically driving will be so prohibitive that it will become a choice that only the upper echelons of society can enjoy. The rest will eventually be forced into the self driving car.
Sorry for a bit of a rambling rant but going away for a couple of weeks has really impressed upon me the need to further explore my self reliance and to equally detach myself from certain aspects of this increasingly interconnected society. To move forward as a species I feel we need to be outward looking towards the future but equally hold a deep respect for a past that enabled us to reach this pivotal moment in our history. I'm certainly not saying our past was perfect but hindsight is a powerful thing, as such with one eye on the yesterday we can buid a more cohesive tomorrow. Thanks again my friend, look forward to catching up with you soon .. over and out :)

I never thought about the insurance leverage before, that's a pretty interesting angle.
No apologies needed. I'm just happy to know you're out in the world being yourself. Laptops and cellphones are pretty weird...(I'm a bit of a junky myself)
YES!!! As it's pretty amazing that we're here at all, the present moment is ripe with possibility!

Your writing is like truth koolaid, and I can't get enough.
"The promise of a quantum computers ability to interact with alternate dimensions is for me a fascinating concept."
It sure is, and much of what you have written ties in with a lot recurring, variable thoughts about technology, spirituality, and where they are heading/converging. I think scientists and theorists have known this little tidbit for some time, and have had more influence than the public knows.
Regarding Multiverse, much like bubbles, perhaps our "realities" converge and overlap one another. I wonder if they can be controlled or altered with quantum computing?
"I believe we undergo a rebirth through death, I also believe much of this technology is a synthetic interpretation of a divine reality."
Yes. It's humbling

Thank you for taking the time to read this post @toddoto, I'm humbled by your kind words. I have a theory that there are two branches of evolution, the quicker hit of the synthetic transcension or the slower spiritual growth of the ascension. From this perspective we now stand at a crossroads, a crossroads with a cliff looming in front of us. The direction we take now will determine the entire course of humanity. What a challenging but equally amazing time to be alive!
