The Celestial Tree - #espiritualstories
From immemorial time there have been many teachers in the Himalayas and they have liked to use the story of the celestial tree for it grants what one thinks. once upon a time there was a homeless who had been here and there for many days, without finding shelter or food.
Exhausted, he sat under a tree and destiny wanted it to be the celestial tree.
The Man, exhausted as he was, though,
How nice it would be to be able to satisfy myself with some exquisite delicacies!
and at that moment there appeared before him some succulent meats, which he ate until he was satisfied. Once satisfied the stomach thought:
It would be delicious to be able to have new and clean clothes
immediately his body was dressed in luxurious and extraordinary garments, and he felt very happy. Then he thought:
It would be great if a young woman massaged my sore feet
and a maid appeared before him and gave a beautiful message to his tired feet. He was very comfortable, but suddenly he thought:
and if a lion should come and eat me?
and in that instant, a lion appeared and devoured him ...
The thought is disloyal and treacherous and becomes when it is not controlled, in the thief of all happiness.
Conclusion: The moral of this story is very interesting for me, it makes me think of how many times I enter without any consciousness in this state of ignorance that I lose my sense of reality and even if a lion does not come to eat me I can bring thoughts to my mind and ideas that produce negative feelings and emotions leading me to anguish and
sadness, how many times are those negative thoughts really true? How many times could we transform them into positives by changing a certain situation completely? What do you think?
