Every thought a person has has the potential to direct them to take an action. Like when you have an idea that you want to implement, the brain will process it over and over again until the idea is carried out.
Here the ability to decide which thoughts are beneficial becomes important. Because there will be many thoughts that arise to give instructions to the brain. Lack of discernment of the mind can cause harm to oneself and even to others. One of the reasons is the negative instructions issued by the mind. The ability to recognize thoughts is key.
There are three points in this process that are especially important if you want to protect yourself and others from harmful thoughts:
- Finding the Foundation of the Mind
Find a reference point from thought to reality that is right in front of your eyes. Try to relate a thought to previous experiences. Make it a lesson. If you already have experience with these thoughts, try to ponder them with an open mind, so that the thoughts that will become these actions will be wrapped up into better thoughts.
****2. Self-Awareness****

Recognizing thoughts, feelings, emotions and sensations that are owned in real time is important. When a person can predict what will happen from his mind, then it will be very good to make corrections to the direction of the mind and be able to decide thoughts for the better. That way it can be determined which action is right and wrong.
****3. Accepting the thought as it is****
Illustrations accept thoughts as they are.
Sometimes, there are times when unexpected thoughts arise. If the thought that comes up isn't good, remind yourself that it's just a thought. Don't pass it on to be a potentially detrimental act. But don't deny that thought either. Try to accept it, and it is unlikely that a person will become entangled in the burden that usually accompanies that thought - anxiety, fear or whatever makes you uncomfortable thinking about it. So accept all thoughts that come as they are to get better thoughts.
Apart from the above methods, mindfulness practice can also support the development of these mind technique skills over time. No matter how strong a bad thought, idea or concept comes, we can realize that it is just a thought which is not necessarily true and must be continued into an action.
