Saat musim durian, di pasar dan pinggir jalan pertokoan kota Lhokseumawe dipenuhi dengan pedagang penjual durian, baik pedagang lokal maupun pedagang dari luar Kabupaten. Aroma harum durian menyeluruh sektor perkotaan.
Bagi penggemar buah durian pasti membelinya. Saya sendiri tidak tahan melihat suasana musim durian dan pasti membelinya untuk di buat kuah tuhee pulut durian khas Aceh.

Bahan-yang diperlukan :

  • buah durian
  • santan kelapa
  • gula pasir
  • beras pulut atau beras ketan.

Cara memasaknya :

  • durian dibelah dan diambil daging
    kemudian diremas-remas biar
    dagingnya hancur, lalu tambahkan
    santan kelapa dan sedikit garam
    dan gula sesuai selera.
  • Lalu masak sampai mendidih dan
    angkat .
  • Beras pulut direndam terlebih
    dahulu selama dua jam, kemudian
    kukus sampai matang.
  • siap disajikan campuran Kuah
    Tuhee dengan pulut.
