I've lost my mom few years ago. If I know something, I know that the best thing I did for my life was to be connected to her and had a deep understanding of her thoughts and needs. It was not always like this. There are years when you are focusing on your own life only. But guess what. She is too. Even if you dont know it. She is always there for you, even if you don't realize it.
Some moms say: you will know, when you will have children of your own.
Sounds familiar? My mom said that, too. But I said to myself one day. Why should I wait? I can imagine my children doing that to me... what ever it is.. talking back, not helping her out, postponing the visit.. Nop. I want to be a normal, loving, responding child. And I became one. Practicly over night. It's not so hard. Everyone can try to imagine the situation and the feeling.
So I was always there for her as she was there for me. We made a love bubble all around us and we were safe and cosy in the middle. Years went by, we were absolutely best friends. Her passing was a special experiance for me, not really painful, but really different from what I was expecting.
