Steem Monsters: Last Season’s Rewards!

The latest season has ended for Steem Monsters which brings with it more cards from the rewards. I was barely able to reach the Gold Division again and the challenges along the way remain there as I struggled through Silver Division this time given my limited time to play. However, I got enough to get 22 reward edition cards. This means that the efforts recently made to improve the collection to get into higher Divisions have not become true yet but I think this season was more due to my limited time playing.

The continuing fact that I have not invested any resources in this game and I can still achieve these results are positive for anybody considering joining the community. But my ability to improve past this is seeming less likely from my current practice of trade reward cards for Beta cards to level up with. A new thought that has recently come up is the thought of getting cards delegated to me like a rental. I am still unsure how to fo about it but it could be an option. Not sure how it will mix with my existing collection or the costs but it is something I am looking at.

I will continue the focus on increasing the level of one of my Splinters as well. I am thinking that the Fire Splinters will be the best option based on my experience this past season. The amount of abilities unlocked at low levels with the Splinter seems attractive although I have had some challenges going up against the overwhelmingly favored Life Splinter in the Silver and Gold Divisions. I guess I need to study the strategies a bit more!
