This educational institution was established by the local government with the aim of educating the children of the nation to be intelligent that they will become the next generation of this country, in this case also in accordance with the mandate of the Indonesian Constitution which reads "participate in the intellectual life of the nation".
So that with the government institutions can eradicate illiteracy in the children of the nation, and the institution is very useful to the children of the local village in particular and to the children of the city lhokseumawe in general. The program run by SDN 8 Banda Sakti can not be separated from the central government program that refers to the curriculum that has been set by the education law of Indonesia.
In addition to participating in the central government program, this school is also filled with local programs, such as following the Aceh LoGA on Islamic Shari'a, thus in the school it refers to two programs: the central government and local government.
One of the mandatory local government programs in this school is that students are not blind to reading al-qur'an and writing Arabic sentences, meaning that students who graduate from this school are free from reading al-qur'an, thus complete already every alumni of SDN 8 has knowledge in the world and hereafter.
Students studying at the institute are children of pusong villages and other neighboring villages still within the lhokseumawe area. While parents of students work as fishermen, only a few percent who work as government employees and traders, the rest become private employees.
The educators who work as teachers in the school are generally graduates of scholars, either general education scholars or religious education. Teachers at the school were on guard at first been alumni of the school, and there also came from another school.
SDN 8 Banda Sakti lhokseumawe city has created many intellectual generations of noble character and there is also a member of the legislature and most of its alumni many who become educators who always pay attention to the history of education with the hope of aceh education in particular to be no 1 in the area of Aceh generally Indonesia.
