HF19
Hi there guys, just a quick update on how the recent Hardfolk has affected me, now I'm not sure about many of you guys! But I just love voting and baring that in my mind I feel almost compelled to give a 100% vote to anything I like regardless of how much I enjoyed reading it.
The reason being is that I feel everyone on this platform started with the sole purpose of wanting to make money, looking for a healthy income to support themselves or even their family.
Now honestly I believe in the system I love the platform and I am absolutely crazy about the Hardfolk as payouts are ridiculously high and I've just went from a mere $2 to $3 to over $70 for posts which I have spent time and effort on posting in order to give my followers and the people of this platform quality content!
But the problem I'm having is that, it's now affecting my posts, because I'm giving 100% to the people and in return I am receiving 2% 3% as a majority and if I'm lucky 100% by maybe one or two beautiful people out there. People are scared to give away what they have and I believe it's important I highlight that I have been still giving 100% votes to people for their content in order to see how much it actually affects my posts and my efforts to develop on this platform.
& I have come to only one conclusion. I have no choice but to reduce my voting power, my posts are not receiving the same traffic as they used to and I don't know if that's because I'm voting 100% and killing my power or if the people are reducing how much power they put into voting on my content!
People don't read unless they feel that by commenting on the post they might get higher rewards by receiving votes from other readers.
Now, I don't know how long it takes to recharge, I'm a little confused as I've been on this platform just over a month now, don't get me wrong guys from where I was to where I am now I am grateful! What I think is important is that everyone switches to the exact same voting power to a bare minimum of 25% and not less. I know voting power now rewards the author up to 4x more which I read in a beautiful steemians blog not long ago, however to reduce our votes to 2% or 5% isn't the fix... It would be better if we all switched to 25% voting power and continued as usual.
Honestly I have never voted less than 100% and have noticed over the past month my portfolio grew a lot faster than many others. People ask me how I did it and if I'm still growing and I say "who knows" I just post and I'm not stingy when rewarding people and for that I'm rewarded well for my content. But now I'm forced to reduce my voting power because it's draining what I have and then when I wait to recharge It does so slowly.
What do you guys think of a system where there is something like a scheduled upvote which monitors future votes. Not sure how feasible the system might be I'm just thinking of how we can put ideas forward to simplify things. I love the payout who doesn't but I believe people deserve greater rewards for quality content.
The people who post great content are those who are making this platform grow! I want to be apart of that but if we set our voting power to 2% or 3% we are giving the same vote to anyone and everyone irrespective of their efforts or quality of content which makes it difficult to grow!
Would love to hear your thoughts guys!
Would love to know if there's something I might have missed out on I am still learning.
Love!
This post helped clear up a lot for me @jawaida.
So for further clarity, when my voting power shows 65% on steemvoter, how exactly is that affecting my blog posts, activity, and upvotes vs. 100% ?

Just keep posting and keep going and don't give up, work hard providing quality content follow people, comment regularly on their posts and upload blogs as much as you can.
In time you will imporve the way you write and then your standards and quality of content will improve.
Structure your work and don't focus on payouts whatever you get put it in SP that's what I did for a whole month and I'm still doing it now! The linger it's there the better and larger your rewards. It will take me 3 months to withdraw but it doesn't faze me it's for my own good and will only help me progress I'm the same guy who had 0 to $2 for anything he blogged. I know anyone can do the same if not better just keep blogging and you will only improve
