There are many souls,
Looking out through many eyes,
Watching What We Do.
We are the ones who have control of the world
That we all share.
Only we can save them and their habitat or
We can have no regard for them and
Cut down all of the Forests,
Pollute all the waters,
Over fish the seas until
There is nothing left and nowhere for them
To go.
What does your heart say to you when you see a soul,
Looking back at you through eyes like these?
Do you feel helpless?
Do you feel shame?
You are not helpless, and you shouldn’t
Feel shame if you have done all you
Can to protect and preserve the
World that we all share.
All those souls should look
On us with hope, not
Fear.
Let Us Give Them Hope.
