Myanmar has own yardstick to evaluate the beauty of a girl. Five kinds of goodness of a beauty have been marked as a standard.

ျမန္​မာတို႔သည္​ အမ်ိဳးသမီး ​ေခ်ာ မ​ေခ်ာ၊ လွမလွကို အခ်က္​ငါးခ်က္​ႏွင္​့ တိုင္​းတာၾကပါသည္​။
1.Smooth and spotless of her skin.
(Goodness of complexion)
2.Neither skinny nor fatty body.
3.Beauty of breasts, waist and hip.
(Goodness of bone)
4.Possessing black, long hair.
(Goodness of hair)
5.Possessing youthful face and body for life.
(Goodness of age)
၁။ အသားအရည္​ စ္ို​ေျပႏူးညံ့ညက္​​ေညာမႈ႐ွိျခင္​း ၊ ယင္​းကို အသားအ​ေရ၏ ​ေကာင္​းျခင္​းဟု ​ေခၚ၏။
၂။ မပိန္​မဝ လွပ​ေသာကိုယ္​​ေနကိုယ္​ထား႐ွိျခင္​း၊

၃။ ပံုသ႑ာန္​သည္​ ခါး​ေသး၍ တင္​က်ယ္​ကာ ​ေျပျပစ္​​ေသာ အ႐ိုးအဆက္​႐ွိျခင္​း၊

၄။ နက္​​ေမွာင္​​ေပ်ာ့​ေပ်ာင္​း၍ ႐ွည္​လ်ား​ေသာဆံပင္​ ႐ွိျခင္​း၊
(ဆံပင္​၏ ​ေကာင္​းျခင္​း)
၅။ တစ္​သား​ေမြး တစ္​​ေသြးလွ၍ အိုမင္​းသည္​့တိုင္​ အရြယ္​တင္​ျခင္​း၊
(အရြယ္​၏​ေကာင္​းျခင္​း)
Those who have such goodness of a beauty are considered by Myanmar as beautiful women.
ထိုကဲ့သို႔​ေသာ အသားအ​ေရ၊ အ႐ိုး၊ ဆံပင္​၊ အရြယ္​တို႔ႏွင္​ ျပည္​့စုံသူက္ို မိန္​းမ​ေခ်ာ မိန္​းမလွဟု ျမန္​မာတို႔က သတ္​မွတ္​ပါသည္​။
