The tall black building is the John Hancock Building. (Although it is about to undergo a name change) It is the 4th tallest building in the city.

Have not visited Chicago since I moved away from the area back in 1990. Thanks for the opportunity to visit again! :-)

It has changed so much since then! Will you go back for a visit ever?

I don’t know. There are so many places to visit, and so little time! 😊

Isn't that the truth? I am beginning to come to terms with the fact that I will not get to visit all the places that I would have liked to travel to. The world is too big and life is too short!

😔 Most of our travels involve visiting family and making detours along the way. We hope to visit Tahiti next year though. That’s a big one we have been saving for. Sometimes I think I would like for us to sell the house and buy a camper and become north American travelers for a while!

So beautiful photography

Many thanks!

Incredibly beautiful your photograph of Chicago. Excellent your recommendations Melinda thank you I will take them into account.

Thank you! Feel free to tell you friends, translate into Spanish. I think a lot of @esteem users are missing out!

wonderful image

Many thanks!

The real reflection of a developed city

Many thanks!

Beautiful have your city photography

Many thanks!

Why the name change? Beautiful reflection there.

Thanks! John Hancock Insurance no longer owns the building, and I guess as part of the sale they asked to have their name removed. Like the Sears Tower, which became the Willis Tower, but will always be called the Sears Tower! 😃

Great reflection and I also love the color of the water. Well done Melinda!

Thanks, luv! I appreciate you so much!

hi Melinda010100 ! Great pics and info!

Thanks, my friend!

Ohhhh, I love this, very monochromatic shot! That grey gloomy sky complements it perfectly!
