Computer science: If you like computers and are comfortable doing a job from 9–5 your entire life. Also, It’s one of the well known ways if your planning to settle in the U.S by working in top tech companies.
Mechanical Engineering: If you like machines and don’t mind getting dirty. Unlike computer science, you can’t achieve high salary and lavish lifestyle just after college. Instead you have to work your way up as your job will be your second part of your education. Understanding that Practical knowledge is more important than theoretical knowledge is an important factor.
Automotive engineering: If you’ve always admired cars on the streets when you walk across them. Good drawing skills and long term interest in reading Automobile magazines for years is a plus.
Civil engineering: If you are good at design software’s and if you’ve ever wondered “Why did this person design this house this way instead of the other way?”. Important quality of a civil engineer: Conceptualization.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering: Considered to be the hardest department of Engineering. Choose this as your major if you’ve good knowledge of the basics( SI units, Theorem’s). Network Security is considered to be the next most important thing of the future, which is handled by a electrical engineer.
Choose the one which you consider will keep you happy for the rest of your life. Don’t worry about who makes money first or who makes more money! Money will follow you once you gain knowledge in your particular field of work.
