The Snow ladden road - Poem

The road was staring bleakly at us,
Waiting to be eaten up until the fort.

The streets to the fort,
Were painted crimson red.

With the blood of the innocent,
Painted as multiple coats.

There were no face of love,
In sight right from the border.

Citizens of the kingdom did not choose,
Either the right or wrong path.

It was but a battle of the damned,
And to the end we shall fight.

Little did we know of the powers,
Of the sorcerer in the castle.

Guarded by the fort all around,
He lay in wait for us to reach his doorstep.
