It's impossible to fall asleep because they give you the shittiest chair they can find.

During my time in the army (now also over 10 years ago) this was never a problem: I was even able to fall asleep on the back of a very loud truck :D

Btw. did you celebrate South Korea's victory over Germany in the world cup?

i don't ever watch south korean soccer because it's rigged with politics, but i heard the news. that was quite interesting.. 😨 #50 beating #1.

In general it is a huge miracle, for Germany it is a huge embarrassment to get kicked out so early (and to add insult to injury, South Korea scored both goals 3 minutes before the game was over) :D

i guess both! also note that for south koreans, their entire life is on the line. if they fail to advance to the next round, they're enlisted in the military (kinda like being sent to labor camps in north korea).

they did fail to advance, so all of them are required to quit their careers at one point and join the military.

well it's not exactly a punishment. everybody's required to go. but if soccer players do well, they're exempt. it's a giant motivation to them. their entire life basically..
you see it baseball too. south koreans beat mlb players in wbc because their life is on the line.

Hello Friend. Although it may not seem like it, I understand your frustration. It is horrible to feel imprisoned and drowned. For people who have no idea, what is best for a population. We have in common, that the governments of our countries, are garbage. They only seek to subdue the population, and do with them what they want. In the case of your country, at least you have access to the things, material and food you want, in the case of my country you do not have access to anything, and the insecurity is unbearable; because the government has been responsible for destroying everything until we are weak and without defense.

imprisoned is exactly the right word! people think they have freedom in south korea but no. everything is centralized and owned by the government. it's also why the president hates cryptocurrency. he wants to control everything. just a few months ago he tried to own every piece of private land in south korea. people think the last president was fucked up. only this one happens to be a little smarter and better at marketing, but he's just as corrupt. absolute power corrupts absolutely.

i'm sorry for what's happening in venezuela. governments are only good at destroying things. like all of them.

Also i didn't know you have 2 years of mandatory army wow, we have mandatory 9 months if you gο to infantry and a year if you ''choose'' navy or airforce . I though mine was way too long :P
