In Myanmar families, thought husbands have priority over wives, in shouldering family's burden, wives also have to share equally the responsibility like husbands.

ဇနီးမယားသည္​ ခင္​ပြန္​းသည္​အား ထိုကဲ့သို႔ ဦးစား​ေပး​ေသာ္​လည္​း မိသားစုတာဝန္​ကို ထမ္​း​ေဆာင္​ရာတြင္​ မိန္​းမသားမ်ားကလည္​း ​ေယာက်္​ားမ်ားနည္​းတူ ခံဲြ​ေဝတာဝန္​ယူရသည္​။
Husband has to work outdoors to get income. Husband has to give all his income to wife. Wife has to manage family activities, health, education and social affairs of the children according to husband's plans. Though important sectors of family's health, education and social affairs are being carried out in accordance with the husband's decision, implementation is done by wife.
ခင္​ပြန္​းသည္​ လင္​​ေယာက်ာ္​းသည္​ အိမ္​အျပင္​ထြက္​၍ စီးပြား​ေရးလုပ္​ငန္​းမ်ားကို လုပ္​ကိုင္​ရသည္​။ ထိုမွရ႐ွိ​ေသာ​ေငြကို ဇနီးမယားအား အကုန္​အစင္​ အပ္​ႏွံရသည္​။ ဇနီးျဖစ္​သူသည္​ အိမ္​တြင္​းလုပ္​ငန္​းမ်ားႏွင္​့ သားသမီးမ်ား၏ ကိစၥမ်ားကို ခင္​ပြန္​းသည္​ ခ်မွတ္​​ေပး​ေသာ အစီအစဥ္​မ်ားႏွင္​့အညီ စီမံခန္​ ့ခြဲရသည္​။ အ​ေရးႀကီး​ေသာ မိသားစု က်န္​းမာ​ေရး၊ ပညာ​ေရး၊ လူမႈ​ေရးကိစၥအဝဝကို ခင္​ပြန္​းသည္​၏ အဆုံးအျဖတ္​ကို ရယူၿပီးမွသာ ​ေဆာင္​ရြက္​​ေသာ္​လည္​း လက္​​ေတြ႕ အ​ေကာင္​အထည္​​ေဖာ္​ရာတြင္​ ဇနီးမယားက တာဝန္​ယူရသည္​။
Myanmar family's sharing of family duties is divided equally according to Myanmar old saying. In Myanmar families, men are more influential than women, that concept seems to have come from a Buddhist tradition of man is more nobler than women.

ျမန္​မာတို႔၏ မိသားစု တာဝန္​​ခြဲ​ေဝမႈမွာ ​ေမာင္​တစ္​ထမ္​း မယ္​တစ္​ရြက္​ဟူ​ေသာ စကားအတိုင္​း မ်ွတစြာ ခြဲ​ေဝသည္​့သ​ေဘာရိွ၏။ ျၼမန္​မာမိသားစုမ်ားတြင္​ ​ေယာက်ာ္​းျဖစ္​သူတို႔၏ ၾသဇာႀကီးမားျခင္​းသည္​ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ၏ အယူအဆအရ ​ေယာက်ာ္​းသည္​ မိန္​းမထက္​ ျမတ္​သည္​ဟူ​ေသာ အယူအဆမွ ဆက္​ႏြယ္​လာျခင္​းျဖစ္​၏။
