One day a friend of Allama Iqbal went to see him and saw that Allama was crying
Asked why the reason for crying was, "I am over 60 years old now - my master salutations and salaam has been in this world for 63 years - I do not wish that I was one day older than them."
Allah heard their plea - Legend left the world on April 21, 1938 at the age of 61 -
Iqbal's view of the Holy Prophet (upon whom be Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was -
In a Persian poem, he said:
(Before God, indeed, be mad; fight your Lord, too. But beware of talking to Muhammad that Allah does not tolerate insolence.
The sweetest thing to say in a Persian line -
So rich is every wise man of the poor
Hi every day
If you do, you will be disappointed
By Surat Mustafa Pangeer
(My God, you are indifferent to both worlds and I am very poor.)
Accept my pardon on the Day of Judgment
And if I had to calculate it
To hide from the eyes of my master, not to embarrass me in front of them)
