Education For Liberation

Speaking education means talking the future. The reason, education is the process of character formation and destruction of ignorance.

In the social sciences (sociology) one of the building blocks of character and social behavior is an educational institution. In the process of education, there is a teaching process that serves to provide knowledge to learners about something that if not known by learners.

In relation to the State, education certainly has an important role in determining the progress and retreat of the life of a nation. As we all know, that almost all developed countries must be preceded by the advance of education first. Japan, Japan is one of the countries that build the country with education.

2. Essence of Education

The real essence of education is to create intelligent gen- eration-to educate, to shape positive characters and to create a life-sustaining generation, whose ultimate goal is to create social welfare for the life of the nation.
In relation to the above, the author is interested in the educational system offered by an education expert from Brazil, Paolo Pariera. In a book entitled Liberal Education, Pariera offers an educational concept that frees learners to take action on their own.

Educational institutions and their equipment are only facilitators, who serve as mentors and advisers and provide educational needs for learners. Assuming that each person has different interests, talents, skills and ways to learn and work.
Reflecting true education teaches students to be forced and coerced so that mental education appears to be forcing and shackling, not liberating.

The main mission of our education today is the Mental Revolution, proclaimed by the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. Mental revolution through educational institutions is a brilliant move, since education is the key to character building.
The success of educational institutions in shaping the positive character of course is determined by the system in it.
The authors see, many educational institutions today tend to be Business Institutions, not educational institutions that serve the intellectual life of the nation in accordance with what is contained in Law No. 20 of 2003 on education.

2. Many Teachers, Minim Educators


The writer's grudge against the world of education is actually derived from the worries in witnessing the current educational world full of teachers but minimal educator tenga. And Today's young generation actually needs educators not only teachers.
The number of universities that annually graduate millions of educational scholars was not much to donate educators. The reason, the scholars generated only mentors educators rather than educators, this is evidenced by the lack of success of educational institutions to create a generation of nations that character and bermental respite.
A true teacher is a person whose every lasting behavior is digugu and imitated. As a person who digugu and imitated, the teacher should be able to provide teaching and exemplary in the process of learning and teaching.[1]

The difference lecturer and educator actually lies from its function, the teacher only teach theoretical understanding of the meteri, while the educator provides an understanding of the theory and implementation of the theory, as well as providing life lessons whose main purpose is to form people of faith, knowledge and noble character.
According to the author, true a educators should be able to bring learners to a prosperous life and contribute positively in the life of the nation and state. because the mental constructed is mental spiritual, intellectual and social.
