Eternitas is an award winning French-German startup, founded by Milosz Matuschek(a lawyer specializing in IP/IT). It is creating Blockchain-based solutions for estate planning. With Eternitas, the wills of the deceased stay on the blockchain forever.

Milosz Matschek says in this article, "The problem we have been working on since there are wills is that when you die, you can no longer transfer the assets yourself and depend on third parties - the executor - if you do not want to leave this job to the heirs themselves. But there is no guarantee that the last will will be obeyed. In our solution, every author of the will also becomes his own executor. So we offer control over the assets beyond death. Eternitas enables you to formulate an immortal coded will which can be executed with the aid of a decentralized network. Allocate your assets from the afterlife.

There is no 3rd party involved such as lawyers or any other human being in the distribution of your funds which keeps you away from the risk of either changing or destroying your will. Your will is kept on the chain intact which in the process enables the people to get what you desire them to get.

*Testament – handwritten will or donation on paper (or whatever is legally needed)
*Transformation of legal prose in smart contract or ricardian contract
*Store of Hash of written will in the Blockchain or in a safe database
