I'm running two older ATI 290 video cards getting approximately 40-50 MH/s. First you'll want to calculate how much processing power you have in MH/s, how much power your cards are consuming, and how much you pay for that electricity.
I'm running windows 10 with ethminer and the AMD SDK
You can download ethminer from this link
https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/releases
Then you can get the AMD SDK from this link
http://developer.amd.com/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/
You will need a pool to join and mine from. I use this.
https://ethermine.org/
You will also need an ETH wallet or address to send you mined coin to. I use coinbase.com because I can convert them to cash on there as well.
http://www.coinbase.com
Once you have downloaded the ethminer.exe file, place it in a folder and create a start.bat file.
Here is what's in my .bat file
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -G --cl-global-work 16384 --cl-local-work 256 -S us2.ethermine.org:4444 -FS us1.ethermine.org:4444 -O 0xEa75b80ed89A5e25F39cF76faEf52a72DfC79cf7.mcjimmy
You can tune your card with these settings, "--cl-global-work 16384 --cl-local-work 256" I find that works well for my ATI 290's. This may be different depending on what video cards you are using. There are many pages that discuss what settings are optimal for which video card you are using.
Search for optimal settings for your video card
https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/5707/mining-performance-settings-amd-radeon-ethminer
This site has good info on what MH/s you should be getting for the video cards you have.

I'm pointing to the ethermine.org pool, two locations for failover. To get paid you have to give your miner a name based on your ETH wallet address. You can see I have used my address from coinbase and then you append a name to your miner after the address, I added ".mcjimmy"
You can put whatever you want after the period.
0xEa75b80ed89A5e25F39cF76faEf52a72DfC79cf7.mcjimmy
To check the status of your miner you can go to the pool website and put your ETH wallet address in the search. I bookmark my url after that so I can check it quickly.
