The CoinDash platform announced that the pirate, who last year stole over 43,000 ETHs from the company's initial currency offer (ICO), quietly restored most of the company's funds.

Where the piracy occurred on 17 July 2017, a few minutes after the launch CoinDash introduced the initial currency, which aims to improve the fundamentals of the social trading platform. An unidentified pirate broke into the site and quickly stole the 43,000-pound etherium. He still has 13,400 stolen etherium coins ($ 11.6 million at today's price). We do not know who the pirate is or why he returned the money. The Israel-based Counter-Terrorism Unit of CoinDash said it would continue to investigate the incident.

The company also said that the launch of its products is still on schedule, and pointed out that "this incident will not expose the company's plan and commitment to our society at risk." While ColinDash CEO Alon Morush said in a statement:

"Like the breakout itself, the actions of the pirate will not prevent us from achieving our vision, and the CoinDash product will be launched next week as planned from the start"
