ENS (hankaaron.eth) Baseball Players For Sale

in ethereum •  7 years ago

Ethereum Name Server (ENS) listings are going fast, and going back up for sale just as fast. When the internet was first created Domain Name Servers (DNS) were created to point to IP addresses and make it easier for people to quickly access websites (www.chrisbell.com). Now, ENS names are being sold to point to long ETH addresses such as (chrisbell.eth > 0xDDd3964D75D59B6B6d5c31eB313BBA5EBF076364). At the bottom of www.myetherwallet.com you'll see that they are asking for donations to (mewtopia.eth) or a long address.
