I'm a huge /biz/ lurker and it was a concentrated effort by either one person or a group outside of 4chan to blame it on /biz/. It was even on Google's front page after searching Vitalik by name and I feel that wasn't a coincidence. Someone just got really rich off of this. I'm just surprised spamming /biz/ was what caused it.
