Out of sheer curiosity, do you see a lot of shit posts? Because I see a ton of shit posts with a large value attached to them. I wonder why people are literally upvoting and paying people for shit posts and spam. You would think quality would matter, not just the same rejammed article or flashy bitcoin logo shoved down our throats. Why not ask for better? Stop being lemmings in hopes of scraps of change, create something, do something, if you can't, get off the pot and step aside and just happily be a consumer. This site has so much shit posting that gains traction and money. Find some damn ethics.

The curiosity factor; been here for a few weeks myself. That which does not interest me I don't bother with - heck anyone can do what they want. But on subjects (tags) that do have interest, I see some that just make no sense, gaining rapid votes and such with no quality of content posted (four or pictures and low quality, nothing else) and no interest to a reply when I tried to engage the poster on the content - utterly ignored. So how's that done? I look deeper and it a seems like a syndicate just pulling together and to chock up the earnings. I could ramble on but I won't.. as I am not ranting. The first rule here is - there are no rules and that is just fine, but ethics where there is monetary gains to be had, ethics for some...is a stranger. From a few good posters I have engaged with - it takes time, patience, comment and engage, and build on that. However, your curiosity point has merit - imo.

Thanks, it is a big curiosity point for me. You are right it does seem like syndicates of some sort, just circular performance to create some of their own monetary stimulus. I have tried to engage with numerous people but have had limited success. But I definitely appreciate your input.

You are most welcome, and you'll do fine here.

Hi Bernard... I see you are on a roll. I was was not going to ruin any of your new posts off topic and this one is past the 6 day mark so me thinks its okay... just this:

The few users who have tried to throw me some tips in the complex, pointed out that the 1st tag you use is likely the most important and can't be edited later. You have some good stuff, maybe try different first tags maybe that will hit a larger interest / more eyes. Than again what do I know, the few blog posts i do...sink like stones and its AOK. But yours seem so mainstream like your creative art. Happy new year,

I stopped Up-votes caused i don't have any voting power left >34 hours to recharge... fyi

I'm just unsure of what tags are really used here, the ones in the drop down menu seem so vague.

Last thing I will add, your artwork is creative. I think what sells is words that express what it meant to you when you created. These are originals so.. maybe think open and express yourself as if you were, in your natural way.. even language that's you. Artistry of visuals and writing are so different as you know. If the art is your strength, then the words should be simple and let it flow. Every picture tells a story... in your head, getting down on the keyboard it the tricky part. Tell your story.. and if there is no story than say that, its purely inspirational... engage them to TELL YOU what it means in their head. And do the contests should they appear...here. You can/will gain followers as you have already.

Alright I will leave it at that, I care cause I see talent. I care because my 28 year old daughter its all about this and its what she does at Disney World, and also a talented artist, designer of costumes and a create-tive. And she suffers for art.

Happy new year - GO GET THEM tiger! It will come.

another suggestion any more app. trial shots add outdoor backpacking (can't hurt) I say that because I follow someone whose done it a few times. My godson did it start to finish took him a year 1/2/ and that photo i know he has that picture - I am guessing GA or SC. then again could be anywhere (don't tell me pls lol) -

Getting close.

Suggestion: look in the hot and promoted posts and check what they use! Experiement - looks like you got lots more to post!

I don't know I checked a few out there are all over the place... BUT art photography meme and steem seem to widely used BUT I see lots of followers. Guess buddy it will just take time, it don't happen quick that's what the old pro's say - turth - new accounts grow daily. Best,

bernard, i feel there is junk everywhere, seagulls come and fly over and shit on the junkyard. We can only do our part and create organic content. we cant change peoples motivations, though we may shape theirs through our own actions.

Look at Gary Vaynerchuk, that guy didn't monetise as a priority, it was a product of his content. The same happens conversely. You aim for money and you produce shit.

we just gotta do our bit, if it feels natural. I wanna tell everyone this and think your post should be on the trending page. Wake up Steemers

It might be coming into this place with fresh eyes, but even those that are some of the higher rated content producers tend to have some legitimacy problems around their content. Especially in regards to plagiarism. Consumers and creators need to be more aware.

You may have already read this source... some of the discourse on this platform and others i beleive in smaller groups, are doing the same... fyi!

I have seen some of these popping up. I think this is differemt from thr other ones I've read.

Well one thing for sure, one must decide what battles to fight and which ones to simply ignore. Choosing the wrong one can have its (-rep) consequences here in the wild wild universe of Steemit. Have a great holiday!
