Ethics of multi-posting

in ethics •  8 years ago

What do you guys think about multi-posting, i.e to post the same article multiple times if the first time does not gain any traction?

On one hand, you've created something you think is valuable, and you're just trying to share it and hope more people can benefit from the value. Just because something didn't gain traction the first time doesn't mean it isn't valuable. There could be many reasons why it wasn't found by its audience.

Having good posts posted multiple times until it's found could potentially benefit both the poster and people who read it. It's win-win.

On the other hand, since posting on steemit is tied to a monetary reward, it could be seen as trying to abuse the system and getting more money than you deserve.

What do you guys think? yay, or nay?
