Will You Take Your Friend or Family Member to the Business Meal? | Business Etiquette | Post 6

in etiquette •  7 years ago

You are the host in a business meal, will you go with your friend or family member to the meal?

Or, you are the guest and you are going with your friend or family member, is it fine for a business meal?

The answer is "No". You should not take your friend or family member to a business meal unless he/she related to business, or you informed about it before going to meal.

For host or guest it is some uneasy to take the business meal. It clearly gives some unfair impression.

So never take your friend or family member if the guest or host doesn't know about it. Better go alone for business meal.
