Red sunlight reflecting off the sea,
A sailboat; its sails reefed,
Silhouetted against the sky.
§
Calmly now, serene and placid
Thoughts fill my mind;
I contemplate the blessings
I have been given.
§
With Gratitude and Appreciation,
I go to my rest,
Knowing how much my life is filled.
So much that many others don’t have,
For which they might have killed.
§
I will try to make life
Better, I will be a better man.
We, Each and Everyone of us,
Needs a place to stand.
§
Red are the dying embers,
The sun has gone to bed.
Red sometimes shows anger;
Don’t take that
With you as you close your
Day.
§
Be watchful, seek
Wisdom, and
Share what
you find.

      Grew up in the middle of the USA, thousands of miles from either shore, who'd never
      Seen the ocean, but that is truly rare here these days.
