Evernote helped me simplify and structure my life by a lot! Now, I do believe that I am not the only one, who can leverage great value which this application can bring, so I decided to list two main reasons, why I use Evernote:

(1) Super-power of remembering (almost) everything!

Evernote has a great widgets for Android phone (not sure about the Apple ones), which allows you to capture every thought very quickly. Evernote also suggest you to add every photo which you take to you Evernote database, which is also really convenient.

But! By far, the biggest game-changer for me is Evernote Web Clipper. It is a simple add-on to your browser, which basically allows you to save any website, article, video... you name it... which you like to save to your Evernote database. After installation, you just click on Evernote icon in top right corner, where you can choose from numerous saving formats and than hit "Save". How convenient is that?!

(2) Putting structure to everything

From the simple notes or emails, to voice recordings or videos, you can save basically anything to Evernote. It is probably wise to structure your data, before it becomes one big messy pile. Structuring your data enables you to find anything within your database really quickly, which can be pretty powerful in numerous occasions.

So, what is the most important thing regarding structure in Evernote?

It is creating so-called "Inbox" notebook, which is the place where every new note ends up. I took this idea from gentleman in following video (who has wonderful content on Evernote, which I highly recommend!)

Thanks for reading this article! If you think that your friends can leverage from these tips, please share it with them. They will be thankful ;-)
