Brock Pierce - Chairman, Bitcoin Foundation

Brock Pierce is a leading figure in the cryptocurrency industry. This is a man that went from being an actor to become a billionaire in Blockchain business. He was among the individuals on Forbe’s list of Cryptocurrency Wealthiest People where was estimated with a net worth of over $1 billion. He partnered with Bart and Bradford Stephens in 2013 to found Blockchain Capital (BCC), a vendor capital company. He launched BCC’s digital currency; EOS through ICO campaigns in 2017 on Block.one. This EOS ICO was regarded as the biggest and most successful ICO campaign in 2017 attracting over $700 million.

Pierce became the Director of Bitcoin Foundation in 2013. After stepping down from his elected position, Pierce later became the Chairman of Bitcoin Foundation. He has gained a lot of experiences in the Cryptocurrency and Blockchain world. He is going to be among the speakers to share their experiences with the audience and educate us the more.

Charlie Shrem is one of the founding members of Bitcoin Foundation and later became the Vice Chairman of the organization. He later stepped down from his post due to some issues related to unlicensed money transmission which landed him in prison where he served two years. After working with Jaxx – a cross-platform digital currency wallet as a director, he founded CryptoIQ; a dedicated organization targeting to bring digital currencies into the mainstream.
