** NOW TO THE DAY'S MATTER**
The book Ecclessiastes 11:4 says
"He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap"
Procrastination is putting off of a required action until a future unknown or known time, to defer or easily to postpone.
Life is full of decisions and time is often essential when making those decisions. Ecl. 3:1
One of the flaws that affect the characters of millions of people in every walk of life is procrastination . Procrastination cuts across all life areas from a student attending to assignments, even as a Christian to go attend a certain church programme, to as a Steemian doing what he /she ought to do a thing at a particular time but decides to leave it when convenient and many other areas of life.
Reasons why people procrastinate are many and few among these are:
Personal Convenience
Sluggishness
Laziness
Family pressure
Environmental Condition
The effects may also include:
Loss of fellowship and oportunities
Being caught unaware/off-gaurd
Loss of things that ought to have been gotten at the time of procrastination
If you found out you are always procrastinating things, here are the few steps you can take in reducing or solving it.
Have a proper planning
Make a constant reminders
Have self-discipline
Focus on today and not tomorrow
Be committed to your plans
In conclusion
Today's duty that is put off till tomorrow usually gives you a double burden to bear but the best way to reduce tomorrow burden is to do it at that present and proper time
