What is the problem Experty wants to solve?

Currently the ‘Expert’ industry is dominated by middle men (e.g. GLG). They connect experts to those seeking advice and take a cut of the fee charged by the experts. The middlemen are used as a way to guarantee the transaction. If for example, the expert doesn’t show up, the middleman won’t charge the knowledge seeker. The middleman guarantees the the service and adds trust to the transaction.
Experty seeks to decentralize this process via smart contracts on the blockchain and cut out the intermediary. This would result in lower fees for knowledge seekers and higher earning for experts.

Relevance and mission:

Our mission is to encourage the adoption of cryptocurrency on a global scale by creating an intuitive, easy to use application that is suitable for wide scale usage. We expect mass adoption within the next 3 years. Anyone who needs to make a consultation via the Experty app will also have a cryptocurrency wallet in their pocket.
Our current focus is on solving the talent crisis in the blockchain community by allowing experts to monetize their skills through a skype-like voice and video application. Payments are handled through an automated smart contract system using Experty’s native token EXY. This will let companies obtain the talent they need, allowing the blockchain community to continue to expand and flourish.

• From FAQ : We will make money on crypto brokerage. That means, that everytime you want to call someone with your VISA card (USD) or Bitcoin or Litecoin or Ethereum or Ripple, the Experty company will take a small brokerage fee.
• For people who would like to accept other payments method than EXY, we will be able to do it for a monthly additional subscription fee paid in EXY (check WP for details).
• To increase decentralization, we have decided to depart from the classic approach of creating a marketplace where users can search for a specialist. The market is already fully saturated with such services.
• Instead of using a central marketplace, we are implementing a completely decentralized solution. Users are free to share their Experty contact information wherever they want, such as discussion boards, Linkedin profiles, their websites, Twitter, etc. This way, blockchain experts aren’t limited to a single marketplace.
• Instead of paying for premium memberships, users who have a certain amount of EXY staked in their wallet will be able to use premium features without additional fees. Examples of premium features include: Scheduling,Paid group calls (ie. webinars) ,Conversation recording. The final number of tokens needed to be staked for premium membership and exact features are going to be decided based on actual user demand and the token price.

• Knowledge Seeker saves time and money by contacting wanted person directly, and paying only for actual call time.

Possible use cases:
• Medical Consultants : With concierge medicine and telemedicine on the rise, doctors and patients are now regularly participating in everyday checkups or consultations through the Internet. These services are also crucial for those in rural and/or underserved areas, especially those who suffer from chronic illnesses requiring frequent doctor visits.
• Bloggers & YouTubers. Both groups have large audiences wanting to contact them directly. Due to time restrictions, direct contact usually occurs through comment replies or live streams. Integrating with our platform will allow these individuals to provide additional monetization of their audience group by charging for private calls.
• Charity Donations. Celebrities or well known individuals frequently give their time for charity. Experty would allow for increased transparency of funds through the Blockchain and a decrease in costs or fees taken by intermediaries.
