Judy's fishing history in her own words:
I was born in Cape Town and live in Namibia.
My favorite place to fish is definitely the kwanza river system in northern Angola where I manage the fishing of kwanza river lodge. This destination offers beach fishing, river fishing, inshore boat fishing and offshore big game fishing.
Every time when someone asks me how I got into fishing, I laughed a little.
Thinking back to the days when I used to give my younger brother and his friends a lift to go fishing. I'd chill on the beach, tan and browse my phone.
One day my brother gave me a rod and I reeled in a few fish. That's when I realized how amazing fishing is. It was about so much more than catching a fish.
I think that the moment I got hooked on fishing and never looked back.
I've had the most amazing experiences, adventures and memories with a rod in my hand. Fishing has become a part of who I am. Fishing has taught me the beauty of nature, the value of travel, the inspiration of laughter, the happiness within surprises and the rewards of dedication.
