Welcome to the first official EyeOnItaly curation post!!
Every week we will select the best 4 posts regarding Italy, we will give them visibility through a special post, all for them!
The aim is to introduce the Italian culture to the world through the eyes of the authors who were lucky enough to know Italy.
To help the most deserving authors, all the SBD collected with the post will be donated to the four authors exactly in equal parts.
For example, if the post after 7 days will have earned a profit of 10 SBD, every author, after 7 days will receive 2.5 SBD on their wallet.
@victory622 in his post tells of his trip to Turin where he had the opportunity to visit the Egyptian museum.
The Egyptian Museum of Turin is the oldest museum in the world, entirely dedicated to the Nilotic civilization and is considered, by value and quantity of the finds, the most important in the world after the museum of Cairo.

@mandl is a big fan of cars and in his post shows us a beautiful one Italian vintage car.
The Alfa Romeo 6C GT.
A curiosity is that in 1939, at the request of the Ministry of War, a military version of the 6C was built for the transport of high officials and members of the government, called Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Colonial.

In his post, Marco writes about Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens.
Palazzo Pitti is one of the most important places in Florence, here lives one of the richest families in Florence, the Medici.
A curiosity of the Boboli Garden is that in 1560 the courtyard sometimes made a scene for extraordinary events, such as a naval battle between twenty Turkish and Christian ships for which the courtyard was flooded up to almost two meters deep!
