Facebook Has Gone Full Retard, Again

When was the last time you saw celebration of men though?

Last time I watched a sports parade, or the last time I watched a segment about CEOs businessmen; we're celebrated all the time dude :-)

This is a bullshit statement. People are marginalised. Not women. Some people are. Some are not. Focusing only on women is what becomes problematic.

OK, I get this distinction; however sometimes people are marginalised because they are from a particular group, so what's wrong with focusing on that?

If people with ginger hair are being beaten up in your area just because they have ginger hair. Does it then make sense to say let's focus on people with hair in general is kinda missing the point.

Why do you think? Saudis have become enlightened or did they do it for political leverage

I don't see your point here; the fact is it has happened, who cares why? Obviously a society that is that steeped in barbaric religious practices against women (not all people), are not just going to change over night, but we have to start somewhere.

You mention blacks in the states, yet when Black Lives Matters tries to make points about the mistreatment of non whites in the States, people (not necessarily you) tend to get triggered as well.

Again. Men as well. E.g poor men. black men. ugly men. short men. They are all marginalised. So what? Are we going to have a special day for every kind?

Yes well again, I think you'll find that there are groups and movements to help men from poor and ethnic backgrounds who are discriminated against. Ugly and short men, well I'm not sure about that, show me proof that people are inciting violence against the ugly and the short because of their features or physical stature and then we can talk about that.

Have you seen any movements about trying to equalize how we view people with zits? If not why?

No I haven't, the reason being is one, it's trivial, two zits can clear up, three nobody is inciting violence against, or trying to stop people with zits getting jobs.

I mean, was that even a serious question? Can you honestly not tell the difference between somebody getting teased about their zits and somebody going their whole life being treated like a second class citizen because of their sex?

If not, then there's not much I can say other than there is a difference. All Facebook are saying is; we're up for women's rights, OK they are probably using the issue as a political football, but who cares? It's better than them unfairly discriminating against someone because of their ethnicity, socio-economic background, or sex.

That's all, I'm sorry if my reply came across as an attack, however I see comments like this all the time; and it seems that anybody who wants a fair world is sneered at and called an SJW or a feminazi (what does that even mean?)

Yes I get your point that they are people first and women second, however people don't discriminate because they're people, it's because they're black, white, female, poor, whatever.
