In a special note on the Facebook blog has appeared information on how the social networking site dealt with acts of terrorism.

The company has special tools to make Facebook as unobtrusive as possible for terrorists.

"We are currently focusing our most advanced methods on combating the terrorist content of ISIS, Al-Ka'id and their variants, and we will expand this scope by further terrorist organizations over time."

Some of the more advanced processes include the recognition of dangerous content after images or video, as well as the capture of links between specific accounts providing such content. Built-in tools help the company in removing accounts repeatedly quoted.

Facebook's efforts in this action are not only algorithms and tools, but also a special 150-person staff tasked with "exclusive and focused action to counter terrorism."

Facebook also intends to work more closely with governments and industry to streamline its operations and "make Facebook an unaffordable place for terrorism."
