Two Accounts on Facebook--Why So Difficult?

in facebook •  7 years ago

I've been on Facebook for nine years. It seems, when I first started, that you could have more than one account. Now, I don't think you're able to, though, it's rather vague on that point. I know I'm not the only one who has a personal account & a business account. In my case, it's one as an author. I just published my first book (more to follow) & wanted different ways for my readers to be able to contact me.

My everyday one I started nine years ago. The one as a writer, I created last week. They'll let me work on it a bit & then, I'll get the message about suspicious activity & they won't let me access it until I submit my pic. It's very frustrating. I sent them an email, but, they've yet to respond. I don't know if I should continue to try to reach out to them. I don't know if the problem is because my real name & writer name are one in the same. Except with my actual one, I include my maiden name. For those that knew me before I married. Do you have a regular account & one to sell your brand (in this case, you)? If so, how did you manage it without Facebook making it difficult?
